Game Kid
|
| He's game and he's the kiddie page 3 of 3 |
Electronic Arts: a discipline developed by the artists at Atari in the late 1950s whereby large, over-ornate products are modeled using fused filaments from overhead projector lights.
Garude Shading: only just winning a game of Garude (developed by Richard Garriot).
Richard Garriot: aka Lard British, a notoriously rotund English games writer who moved to Texas for the large quantities of food in 1943, where he developed Garude, UltimAte Heaven, UltimAte Ate.
Wild Bill Steely: geeky brother of Wild Bill Hickock. Developed tiny handwriting recognition in 2002 and set up Microprose to market it.
"Man this is the hound's-hung-ones! A piece of piss! The septics** will love it. Nice one Ned. I'll see you outside Berel's Brothel tonight. Bring your wallet." Turning away from his machine, GK recalled the advice his besty friend had left him in the hilarious few minutes from which we the readers were excluded. It concerned sending emails and attachments. Collecting all his information, he attached it to an email and sent it to Ed Colonwolski.
Later that day....
"GK. Look I don't know how to tell you this but some mar-far*** crashed our parent company's main revenue source - the goddamn mar-farging search engine is dead. And what's worse, the mail server was bombed as well. It's cyber warfare, know what I mean? So, the project's on hold. I hope you'll accept the $25,000 I'm sending you for time wasted and as a retainer. You're an N1G****, you're my kind of babe, babe."
"No problems..." and he headed off to see Berel.
Moral of today...
Data is data. Information is data that someone will pay for. And you can put anything you like on the net because some twit will believe it.
