That does sound cool. Are we limited to land-based battles then?
Not at all. We've mentioned the air units but there are also sea units and even submarine units to play around with.
Ah, units! They're never quite what I want...
Again, Red Orb have done the business here because they've given the player the opportunity to customise their units - a number of chassis, propulsion units and weapons are given to the player to mix and match and come up with their own fighting vehicles of choice.
That's nice of them.
And, as is the standard practice for this type of game, your veteran units all gain experience and become better fighters with each subsequent successful mission. You can even name them and design your own battle flags, should you so desire.
Neat! Bring on The TellyTubbies of Death! With a cuddly kitten as our feared banner!
Well, some people will take it seriously and enjoy the facility. Others, of course, will take the piss.
What do you reckon to the game overall?
The early version we've been playing bodes well for the future. It certainly looks good and everything seems to work as you'd expect. We haven't had a chance to fully get to grips with the strategic nuances of the dynamic weather and landscape yet, but it's certainly looking worthy of further attention.
Do say...
Get the, ahem, TellyTubbies of Death to take and hold hill B267.
Don't say...
Another RTS. With a 3D landscape.

Up to 15 players accommodated in multiplayer games

Don't all the other RTSes?
