Game Kid
He's game and he's the kiddie page 2 of 2

"Mad, someone has done my drum over right and proper. I've been stitched up like a kipper, turned up like a Christmas sprout. What's the Wiffy on this?"

"Pardon? The Wiffy? What are you on about?" Stuart was used to the occasional drunken phone call from The Kidster, but was having trouble understanding him since he'd watched The Long Good Friday on DVD.

"Wiffy Spews... the news. What's the PR Girlie?"

"Eh? You've lost me."

"PR Girlie Ninfo... the info?"

"Well Kid, it looks as if the Gaming Wars have kicked off, and you, as a cutting-edge game writer, are a prime target. From what I hear, the Onliners are that close to putting a Fatwah out on you since you wrote that piece in the Kwik Save journals saying that Rainbow Islands was still a top playing slice. Unfortunately, the Offliners are also considering a contract for your life following your article in the KwikFit newsletter which said that Worms Online was an experience that would change anybody's life. If I were you, I'd lie low for a while until it all blows over."

"Fu..." But before he could finish the sentence, a brick came hurtling through the window. It was obviously time for the Kidmeister to cool his heels...

To be continued...
