Short Sighted

Dear Future Gamer

DC, PSX and N64 owner here with a virtual (ho ho) gamut of interest in computer games. I like the layout - clear and intuitive (I know you computer game journalist types like that word!). I've just one complaint: your release schedule. It's not much of a schedule, is it? I mean, okay, you don't want to be too inaccurate but aren't you going a bit far? The Arcade release section stretches for the next three-four months. All right, each month the dates vary greatly, even comically, but it's better than nothing or next to nothing, as when I looked at Future Gamer not half an hour ago. Anyway, that's as bad as it gets. I've nothing else vaguely intelligible to say, apart from Future Gamer: just another example of the Midas touch that Future Publishing seem to posses. Phew.

FG: We made a conscious decision to keep our Release Schedule restricted to two weeks for several reasons. The main one is that software houses are so unreliable at sticking to their own release dates a further-looking schedule (as you mention) can become comical in its inaccuracy. Secondly, we're a weekly publication and therefore can update the schedule each week.
