The original Theme Park was a kind of fun business simulator in which you got to build and run your own little theme park. If you played the game seriously, you tried to build rides and shops to attract people into your park and make a profit. If you were anything like us, you tried to make all of them as ill as possible by putting too much salt in the drinks and making the rides go too fast. Theme Park World is essentially the same game. Not only that, but fans of motion sickness can try out the rides they've built from a first-person perspective. These are the gimmicks. The new gameplay features are more interesting.

To complete the game you'll need to build parks on eight different islands. Each island has a theme, and these range from a Prehistoric Lost Kingdom to a Land of Dreams. The theme dictates which rides are available for you to use, which is a nice touch as it stops you getting bored of seeing the same rides over and over again.
