Dear Future Gamer,
Recent issues of Future Gamer have been a disappointment for me. Masses of news, reviews and features on the Fony GreyStation but little on Nintendo (64 and GB/GB Color) and Sega (Dreamcast). I know it's hard for a cross platform mag to get the balance right so why bother trying?
A separate subscribable email magazine for Nintendo, Sega, Sony should be made available but you can still offer the current guise of FG for those who want it all. The number of screenshots that could be included with the issue would rocket as would number of reviews etc. Download times would be a lot slower but you could then offer more news on the console in question.
Thanks for issue 17 with the Jet Force Gemini review. I loved the Zelda and Perfect Dark previews in issue 5 and the bit on Zelda in issue 2. The top games for N64 was also a welcome feature in issue 7 along with the article in issue 2 on where now for the N64? Very good Nintendo content and much read although there is a lack of content recently.
South Park is rubbish??? Every other magazine gives it 90 per cent simply because it is South Park - I thought I was the only one left who hates SP but I was wrong. More thanks in order!
Lots of American phrases recently like gonna, gotta, kinda, wanna, sorta, color, favorite, gotten and words with 'z' in instead of 's'. Does your readership like FG in American? I don't.

So, not enough coverage, but thanks for all the coverage… We do try and get the balance right but a lot of what goes in the issue depends on what games are being developed/released for what machines. Zelda was huge news just before Christmas, but it’s had its time. MGS took over and now it’s the PC’s turn. Don’t fret, everything will even out eventually, though the N64 is always going to be the poor relation simply because the volume of games released for the machine is nothing like the PlayStation or PC’s release schedule. Sorry n’all (an Americanism, to lighten the tone of the magazine – we don’t think we need to be so dry all the time) but that’s the way it goes.
