The Language of Videogaming

EA |
Or Electronic Arts, to give them their full moniker. The American behemoth is the world’s biggest videogame publisher by a White Cliff of Dover. With a host of affiliates and offices all over the world, Electronic Arts have some of the most successful videogaming brands, many of which they update every blimmin’ year.
The EA Sports brand is basically a licence to print money. No matter the quality of the fare, EA Sports games depart the shelves with haste. The FIFA series of football games is hardly the most lauded, yet it comprehensively outsells its rivals.
Although a third-party publisher, it’s nigh on imperative that EA develops games in order that a platform be successful. They bided their time when the N64 was first released, before developing games on their own terms. Be in no doubt that EA are going to get bigger and bigger. And bigger.
