Dear Future Gamer,

I was sitting on the bog, and I thought about backward compatibility – a good idea. I was thinking: if I already have some games for my PlayStation, then presumably I already have a PlayStation. So why do I need another PlayStation to play my PlayStation games on?

Then I thought: It's time to wipe my bum and go for a cup of tea. And as I got up I thought: ‘Well I suppose I could sell my old PlayStation and put the deposit down on a new PlayStation and still play my old PlayStation games'.

Just some thoughts!
