There used to be one and only one PlayStation driving game and that was Ridge Racer. Then along came Gran Turismo and taught us all there's no room for complacency in the world of videogames.

Now there's Ridge Racer Type 4. It isn't better than Gran Turismo, just different. It does, however, mean there are now two PlayStation driving games that really must be in your collection.

This latest incarnation of the series follows firmly in the footsteps of its arcade parents but offers so much more in the way of cars to unlock, tracks to race and competitions to compete in. There's only one game in town this weekend and this is it.
