Now then, those of you who were with us last week will remember that our recommendation for the week was Wild Metal Country on the PC. This might look a bit strange now that we've just reviewed the game and given it a far-from-glowing score.

The reason for this is that a review is always a subjective thing. I'd played WMC for a couple of hours and thought it was all right - Ben played the game to death and its weaknesses became more apparent to him. I'll stand by Ben's review, I trust him because I know he knows his games and I know he does his research thoroughly. That said, we're still going to recommend a game to you each week, and this week we'd say go for Warzone 2100 on the PC.
