Normally we at Future Gamer pick a good game that we like which is being released this weekend. Unfortunately there aren't any games being released this weekend that we can, hand on heart, recommend you go out and spend money on. That's not to say there aren't good games being released, but unless you're a dedicated wargamer who admires Talonsoft's WWII campaigns we can't really recommend everyone go out and buy East Front 2.

Similarly, Diver's Dream on the PlayStation is a fun and interesting title that's well worth a look at but our feelings are (as we said in the preview way back in FG7) that the game's going to be far too short-lived to warrant purchase.

The only other games we can say we've played enough to make a fair judgement on are GTA: London, and we didn't think that was much cop, and Sports Car GT, which is good, but not outstanding. So the message this weekend is either try before you buy or wait until some higher quality titles are released - hopefully next week.
