Dear Future Gamer,
My nine-year-old son has a Game Boy and has just got a camera and printer for it as a birthday present. I was somewhat horrified to find that the replacement paper for the printer is £7 a roll. It's not that I'm mean but a £7 small roll lasts no time at all.
So I got to thinking, it must be thermal paper so would fax paper work? As I had a roll left over from the days when the fax was a standalone machine (I now fax from the PC) I gave it a try, and it works. It's a bit tedious trimming it down to fit but I should think £1 worth of fax paper will last him a year. As it is thinner than the Game Boy paper, I did have to stick a bit of the original paper to the fax paper just to get it feed into the printer as a leader. Perhaps you would like to pass this on to other readers.
Yours sincerely,
Keith
