| Monster Truck Madness 64 |
| N64 |
From: Rockstar Games |
When combined, the words 'monster', 'truck' and 'madness' tend to strike fear into the heart of anyone with a fondness for short hair and good games. But why is this? Surely bouncing around in oversized pick-ups is a barrel of laughs? Sadly, Monster Truck Madness 64 only serves to reinforce our 'big wheels equals crap game' theory. Having umpteen play modes (including monster truck soccer) would have been a bonus, if only the game engine was up to scratch. And why oh why do they associate monster trucks with professional wrestling? It must be something to do with mullets. Three words - Monster Muck Badness.

| FA Premier League STARS |
| PlayStation |
From: EA |
Oh dear. Just in case you can't wait a few months for FIFA 2000, EA have dished up a half-baked slice of football 'action' to tide you over. With shocking physics, woeful graphics and ludicrous animation, FA Premier League STARS would've been hard pushed to impress on the Mega Drive. Granted, the star system is a nice idea - you get them for winning matches, scoring goals, etc, and spend them on improving your players - but why didn't they just bolt it onto the superior FIFA 99 engine? FA? Flipping Awful!
