"Let's see that again!" Vrrrroooommm. "Let's see that again!" Vrrrroooommm. "Let's see that again!" Vrrrroooommm. That F1 World Grand Prix advert for the N64 was dead annoying, yet everyone still rushed out and bought the game. Why? Probably because it was really good. Let's hope they don't do another painful ad for the Dreamcast version.
Andy Ashwin
Yeah right! That advert bugged the $*%! out of me.
Bet you didn't gob at the telly though? Took ages to wipe all that off. Yuck! The advert really was annoying to the max, just like those Pepsi ads where they say things like, "Radical dudes - take it to the max!" Hmm...
Uh? So this is the same as the N64 game but with better graphics.
In a word, yes.
Okay. See you next week.
Just a minute... what about all our readers who didn't play F1 World Grand Prix on the N64?
Even they have probably played the sequel.
Well let's just pretend, okay?
Okay. What is F1 World Grand Prix?
That's the spirit. F1 World Grand Prix is a driving sim in which you get to take part in the Formula One World Grand Prix. It's got all the official teams and drivers, as well as all 16 world circuits. The graphics and commentary are so authentic your mates will think they're watching the real thing.
Oh joy. Sixty-odd laps of utter boredom.
Philistine! Anyway, you don't have to do the full monty. There's an arcade mode for 'the kids', where you can cut the races down to as little as three laps. You can set damage to zero and even get the computer to help you use your brakes. If you're rubbish, that is.
