Force 21 - out now in the shops
Issue 48 - October 7, 1999

Future Gamer: Issue 48 £0.00

Sega's Dreamcast launches next week and we're really looking forward to it. Let's hope the Dreamcast doom-mongers and soothsayers will be forced to eat a three course meal of hat and words, closely followed by humble pie! Electronics Boutique are opening over 100 stores at midnight next Wednesday for those who simply can't wait for the morning to break. For further details, check out the News section...

Have you got an N64? If the answer is in the affirmative then you won't want to miss Rare's latest offering, Jet Force Gemini. The definitive review is at your fingertips. Heck, it's as good an excuse to pick up an N64 as you'll get this week!

Want to know more about Microsoft's shadowy X Box console? We've got an eminently digestible feature on the very fellow... just in case.

Hope you enjoy the issue.

Review: Jet Force Gemini (N64)
Delays have decimated the N64's pre-Christmas release schedule, so will this eagerly anticipated game, developer Rare's first for almost 18 months, be enough to keep N64 owners happy? It certainly looks nice enough...
Feature: The X Files
Microsoft's rumoured intentions to enter the console market are considered by some to be a dream come true, by others to be the work of the Devil himself. Keith Stuart takes a balanced look at Microsoft's likely plans...
