| Sonic 3 On Dreamcast? |
You won't believe the rumour we heard concerning our spiky blue friend
Disappointed over the Shenmue delay? Still angry over Sega Rally 2 not being playable online? Hopefully this piece of news will do something to cheer you up.
According to a very reliable source in Japan, Sonic Team have begun development of Sonic The Hedgehog 3 for Dreamcast. As our source told us, "Basically, Sonic 3 on Dreamcast will be an enhanced version, similar to Sonic Adventure, with a lot more."
At the moment it's not yet clear whether Sonic 3 will remain a 2D title or if Yuji Naka has plans to drag the game into the third dimension. From what our source told us, we get the feeling Sonic Team are opting for the latter.
While the news of Sonic Adventure 2 would have perhaps been better, we're certainly not complaining about Sonic 3 on Dreamcast. Sega have yet to make an official announcement on the matter, but we're expecting some solid details on this some time next week.
