New Konami GBC game
Stranded kids having to survive on their own on a desert island? It's a positively Lord of the Flies-ian prospect, and one which Konami have utilised for their forthcoming Game Boy Color title Survival Kids. Essentially, in this adventure game you're left to fend for yourself on an island and you must use its natural resources to stay alive.
The action is viewed from above (similar to Link's Awakening) as you trudge around in search of food and water. However, you can develop tools and weapons in order to enjoy a more comfortable existence. The ultimate objective is to get the heck off the island. A sort of GBC Robinson Crusoe, then...
Expect to see Survival Kids on the shelves before Christmas.
