Dreamcast to go on sale at midnight on October 13
Electronics Boutique are going to open over 100 stores at midnight on October 13 so eager beavers can buy Sega's 128bit Dreamcast console. EB report that interest in Sega's latest machine is phenomenal and that it warrants the special opening event. But what will you be playing throughout the night? Sonic Adventure? What about Sega Rally 2? We're Ready 2 Rumble. There should be some 17 titles available, anyway.
"Electronics Boutique have been championing Dreamcast right throughout the summer and the result has overwhelmed us," EB's Steve Wilson told CTW. "We anticipated a significant interest, but nothing on the scale to which we're looking at now. The change of release date to October 14 has only fuelled consumers' need to get their most-wanted piece of console hardware as soon as possible."
Midnight it is, then.
Are you planning to pick up a Dreamcast at midnight? Feedback to the usual address please...
