Dear Future Gamer

When will people learn? Never buy anything the day it comes out. Give it time to prove itself. Maybe the Dreamcast is going to be a revolutionary piece of gaming hardware, but I have my doubts. Sega lost my respect a long time ago with their previous ventures. I hope to be buying a PlayStation 2, but certainly not on the first day, or even the first year for that matter.

FG: There's nothing wrong with buying a new machine on the day of its release if the games you want to play are also available at release, as was the case with Dreamcast. As for waiting a year after the PlayStation2 launch before buying it, blimey! You're a patient chap! I don't think I could wait that long.
