Dear Future Gamer,
Regarding what Dave Clarke said in issue 57 about your 'nanny' attitude, I think that if he's so concerned about his own opinions then why is he even reading this mag. The basis of games magazines is to review games. I admit that sometimes they may differ from your opinion. But if everybody bought appalling games like South Park (which I was about to before reading some reviews) then developers would realise that they could save development time and make a ton of money by releasing any pile of rubbish as long as it had pretty pictures and a movie licence. It's quite scary that some developers who have made bad games are obviously doing this and keep cashing in on helpless gamers as much as they can (every single hunting game springs to mind). If Dave gets upset every time he hears advice from somebody, then he shouldn't go subscribing to a mag that prides itself on its great reviews and advice. So stop being so bloody patronising and be grateful to these people who are giving such an excellent, free service.
Personally I think this mag is great. Keep up the good work.
John Carroll
