In my opinion Sony have a great idea but they've executed it in the wrong way. I am, of course, talking about the fact that only select PSX magazines will be allowed to use the title PlayStation (and some other word). In my opinion there are too many "new" PlayStation magazines out there that I think are just cashing in on the success of Sony's wonder box. These magazines are occasionally good quality but I can't help feeling that these same magazines would be reporting on N64 or Saturn matters if those consoles had sold as well as PlayStation. I go into my local newsagent and I see a good five or six different PSX mags and my newsagent is nothing compared to my local WHSmith or Woolworths.

My favourite magazine's name, PlayStation Power, will be cut to just Power under the disguise of the 50th issue celebrations.

To bring me back to my point, I think Sony are just being petty and they should target the people who are cashing in on their success.
