Rumblings from the Game Boy Color camp as pocket console gets a makeover
Nintendo are introducing new colours to their Game Boy Color range. Currently available in Grape and see-through Atomic Purple, Nintendo have announced that Dandelion (yellow), Berry (reddish), Kiwi (green) and Teal (a deep, turquoise-ish blue) will be available come the summer.
More significantly, Nintendo are set to release Game Boy Color games with rumble capability built into the Pak. The number of GBC games continues to grow apace, too. Mindscape are releasing The Chessmaster, a Game Boy classic from days of yore, and basketball game In The Zone is on the way from Konami. Nintendo estimate that there will be 100 GBC games before the end of the year. You must get a Game Boy Color. Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX is out now, so there really is no excuse.
