Bizarre Creations’ DC racer announced at Milia
Liverpool-based developer Bizarre Creations have announced their forthcoming Dreamcast racing game, Metropolis. The action takes place in real life cities, with the emphasis firmly on realism – remember, Bizarre Creations made Formula 1 and Formula 1 ’97 for the PlayStation and PC.
Metropolis will have two game modes – an Arcade mode for the ‘pick up and play’ racing fans as well as a more complex mode for the serious gamer, the details of which were not disclosed. Sounds rather similar to Microsoft’s Midtown Madness.
Bizarre Creations have already begun working on their second Dreamcast title, Furballs, which, incredible as it may seem, is not a racing game. It is, in fact, a 3D cartoon-action-shooter-puzzle-adventure-explore ‘em up! (Well that’s what they say, anyway!)
