Songbird Ocarinas provide a Link to Zelda
What do you buy the gamer who’s got it all? They’ve probably completed Zelda already and think they’re a bit of a dab hand at that ocarina lark as well. So why not buy them one of Darryn Songbird’s exquisite handcrafted clay flutes?
Choose from soprano, alto, tenor, baritone and bass – each ocarina is finely tuned to play all the notes, including sharps and flats, and comes with a songbook/tutorial.
Not one to miss an opportunity, Darryn has bolstered the collection with the addition of the Sweet Potato, an ocarina inspired by Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. It looks just like the one from the game and is emblazoned with the ‘Tri-Force’ symbol.
The Songbird Ocarina website features a Zelda page, where you can learn how to play the songs from the game and even listen to the Zelda tunes as played on a real ocarina.
Future Gamer believes that playing the correct sequence of notes is highly unlikely to produce a psychedelic visual feast.
