DMA Design's GTA set for N64 and Game Boy Color
Grand Theft Auto, DMA Design's controversial mission-based drive-by shoot 'em up is set for a translation to both the N64 and Game Boy Color. Having shifted over two million copies on PlayStation and PC in the 16 months since its release, GTA is DMA's most inventive and successful game for a while.
The game is expected to retain the top-down viewed format and its conversion will be particularly welcome with N64 owners. The recently formed games arm of Take 2, Rockstar, are set to publish the title, and they're also busy with a couple of other GTA spin-offs. Grand Theft Auto: London 1969, the '60s gangster mission pack, is set for release in the next couple of months on PlayStation, and the sequel GTA 2 is due on the shelves in October.
