Dear Future Gamer,
I am about to make a very serious accusation. Future Publishing are not impartial! Almost every one of their magazines that I have read have both denied and contained biased opinions and comments against Sega. Here is a quote from your website: "So, why not buy a magazine that readers trust? Why not buy GamesMaster?"
That's just the problem. A lot of readers have to rely on your judgement for consoles and games. I don't know if it's because you love Sony or hate Sega, but you cannot deny that you are one of the two. You are what you call 'glory hunters'. For example, a glory-hunting football fan would currently be supporting Manchester United, but a year ago they would have supported Arsenal. Is that clear enough? You picked Sony out from the start because of their early market lead, and it's thanks to you people that the public didn't think twice about what console they wanted. Sega are infinitely better than SCEE at producing games (this is because Sega rely on talent whereas Sony rely on money), but no-one would ever know, because no-one has a Saturn.
I mean, if you offered someone who had never seen a computer game in their life either Tekken 2 or Virtua Fighter 2, or Rage Racer or Sega Rally, you do know what they would choose. Anyway, while you continue to repress Sega, I'll be reading CVG, the best games magazine available. They're impartial, you know.

FG:
How, exactly, is the quote regarding GamesMaster magazine biased against Sega? Why should anyone be biased against a company that produces videogame hardware and software? Future Publishing employs hundreds of people. Are you seriously suggesting there is a 'company line' regarding Sega? Are you seriously suggesting that people didn't buy the Saturn because of Future Publishing? This is clearly nonsense. Future Publishing produces videogame magazines. If the Saturn had a UK user base of, say, two million, more people would buy videogame magazines. And so on... let's hope the Dreamcast is a massive success.
