Dear Future Gamer,
With all this talk about the PlayStation 2 and the Dolphin vying to be the next best games console since sliced bread, has everyone forgotten about the PC? It's the best games machine and will be even better by the time these new consoles are released. We have things like TNT 2 and Voodoo 3 and from these we get much better looking and faster games. Compare Star Wars Racer on the N64 to the PC version. It runs faster and looks better (yes, I may have a P3 450 and a Voodoo 3 3000).
And games-wise, the PC is just looking better and better with Unreal Tournament and Quake 3 all soon to be released. Tell me of a game genre that has been as popular as the Doom/Quake series on any console?
Anyway love the mag, keep it up.

FG:
There is no doubt that the PC is an amazing machine on which to play games. The simple fact that you can play games with people from all over the world (and let's be honest, multiplayer games ARE the future) gives the PC a unique standing. Not for long, though. Dreamcast will have online capabilities, as will Sony and Nintendo's next consoles. But who cares what the machine is? As long as the games are good...
