Dear Future Gamer,
It is hilarious that the Official PlayStation Magazine gave The Phantom Menace nine out of 10. Everybody else who has played and reviewed this game says it is awful. CVG gave it one star and I have found their reviews to be very accurate and impartial. Could it be that getting the world exclusive review and the opportunity to sell the magazine with five different covers had something to do with the score? If you want demo CDs buy it. If you want impartial advice steer well clear.
Some time ago when this mag gave high scores I respected them and in most cases agreed ,but more and more lately the scores on big developers' games seem artificially high. An example of this is the Silent Hill review.
I understand that it is only personal opinions or is it?
Can you give me assurances that it is?

I can assure you it's only personal opinion though it does look a bit dodgy when a magazine gets a world exclusive review and gives the game a high score when the rest of the reviewing world subsequently gives it a low score. If anyone from the Official PlayStation Magazine reads Future Gamer maybe they'd like to explain themselves?
