Dear Future Gamer
As to Paul Filby's comments (FG43) on the release date of the Dreamcast being set back to make sure it's up to scratch - go buy Tiberian Sun. Took 'em (Westwood) a year to try to get that one up to scratch and it's still the most buggy piece of software I've purchased (except for Win98!). On that note, people who are having problems with TS, here are a few notes:
1. As soon as you install it, go and click on the Auto-Update icon. This downloads the latest patch.
2. When playing, make sure you have the correct CD in for the side you're going to play. I don't know if this applies to Internet and LAN play (yet!).
3. There seem to be problems with some of the maps, causing TS to crash with an internal error. I know one of them is Hextreme. I'm emailing Westwood about this.
4. Do email Westwood on any bugs or problems you find. This will help them to cure them and put more updates on. When you get an internal error, open up Notepad and note it down. Also, if you go into your TS directory there's a text file called 'except.txt'. This stores the last error code, so put this in as well as it will help WW find the culprit code.

FG:
Thanks for those timely tips, Pete. Is Tib Sun the buggiest piece of software you've come across? If not, what is? I'm expecting Elite: Frontiers to get a few votes...
