Dear Future Gamer
Nintendo, aren't they great? First they give us the specs for the all-new Dolphin/Project 2000/'Not a PlayStation 2', and now the Next Generation Game Boy. It must be fun in Nintendo land coming up with all the numbers for the stats to baffle the opposition, but I'd like to ask, if the Game Boy is capable of 'Maximum colours to be displayed simultaneously: 65,000' and yet only has 'Resolution: 240x160 pixels' where are the extra 26,600 colours to be shown? (65,000-(240x160) = 65,000-38,400 = 26,600)
I know that 65,000 is a rounding of 256 squared (65,536), so Nintendo really mean that it will use 256bit colour, but if they're going to quote these 'exciting' statistics, don't you think that they should be a bit more careful?
Anyhow, I'm off to lie down now - statistics was never my strong point.

FG:
Several people have been baffled since we broke the news about the Game Boy Advance and its ability to display 65,000 colours simultaneously, when really it's going to use 256bit colour, so thanks for clearing that up for everyone, Stuart.
