Dear Future Gamer
In response to Alex Walsh's letter (FG43), regarding sycophantic magazines licking up for exclusives, which magazine are you going to trust? PC Gamer or the magazine which didn't like Outcast because of the characters' names?

FG:
One thing you've got to remember about magazines is that they're fighting each other for readers. A good magazine is an honest, informed and entertaining magazine (hey! A bit like Future Gamer!) and one that readers can trust. A shallow magazine is soon shown up to be just that, irrespective of the number of 'exclusives' it manages to secure for itself. Once you've lost a reader - by blatantly licking up for an exclusive, perhaps - you're unlikely to win them back. It's a jungle out there.
