Stunt GP Officially Announced

Team 17 and Hasbro Interactive reveal their secret weapon at last

Today, Hasbro Interactive officially announced Stunt GP for the Dreamcast. Although we've known about the title for quite some time now, both Hasbro and Team 17 spoke openly on their plans for the game, which is due out in March 2000.

Speaking on behalf of Team 17, Debbie Bestwick said, "This is excellent news for consumers. This will allow Team 17 to spend more time polishing the game and make sure we give equal focus to both PC and Dreamcast versions, ensuring an even more enjoyable playing experience. Stunt GP is an excellent product that deserves to be given the time and focus by not only the development team, but also the publishing side. Hasbro Interactive's long-term strategy for Atari fits everything that we are aiming to achieve with this game - action packed, mass market suitability and, most important, outstanding gameplay."

As we told you before, Stunt GP is a single or multiplayer racing game set in the world of high speed, radio-controlled stunt cars. Players can accelerate, skid, jump and burn their way around loops, ramps, corkscrews, spirals and other obstacles, while battling with opponents for victory. Stunt GP features branded racing cars, over 24 race tracks and by collecting 'Aeromile' rewards for daring stunts, players can increase their cash-flow and upgrade their cars on the way to radio-controlled car heaven.

Look out for a preview in the near future. I'm sure you'll agree, with the developers of Worms behind this one, Stunt GP is one game to keep your eye on!
