| SNK vs Capcom Linkability |
The two different games for the NeoGeo Pocket Color will link together in a unique way
New information on both NeoGeo SNK vs Capcom titles has come out of Japan. Apparently, Card Fighters Clash (the SNK card battle game) and Battle of the Strongest Fighters (the Japanese name for the game known as Match of the Millennium in the US) will be able to link together to transfer data. If you collect certain cards in Card Fighters Clash, linking up to the fighting game and transmitting data will unlock secret options and/or characters in Battle of the Strongest Fighters. It's also been reported that the Card game will be able to transmit data to the Dreamcast version of SNK vs Capcom via the Dreamcast Link, so you'll be able to unlock secret options as well. However, there have been numerous reports that the English version of SNK vs Capcom: Card Fighters Clash has been delayed or cancelled due to legal issues.
SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium will be released in Japan on December 22, and we'll bring you more details on the UK versions of the games as soon as we get them.
