Dear Future Gamer
With reference to the Feature in FG67, I'm totally at a loss to explain why some companies put cheats in games. There are some which aren't all that bad, like the ones you receive for completing Driver and MGS, but then there are some like the private Carrera cheat in Tony Hawk's, which enables another character. Without the cheat you'd never get this character so in this case, not only is cheating good, it's the only alternative.
Why would they bother putting work into something the average gamer may never even see? Most cheats like immortality and level skip are just too tempting, though. It takes a lot of willpower to avoid taking the easy option, doesn't it? And no, there isn't a nude code for Tomb Raider.

I've a feeling the games companies think these little 'extras' that people discover endears them to their games; a sort of little bonus that makes people feel better about their otherwise worn-out games. Maybe I'm completely wrong though. As for the nude Tomb Raider, it's still the funniest, and only ever half-convincing, April Fool's gag ever to appear in the games press. Congrats C&VG.
