Wild Metal and NBA 2K

This week we can take a first look at how two very different Dreamcast games - Rockstar's sedate mech warrior Wild Metal and Sega's highly playable and simply gorgeous hoops hoot NBA 2K - have fared under the stern glare and steely fingers of our print chums.

Wild Metal has been uniformly given the kind of welcome reserved for a slightly dull but genuinely nice guest speaker at a Women's Institute meeting. NBA, though, got the kind of reception reserved for a spectacular basketball contest - lights, lasers, stamping feet, organs, the lot. Which is nice.

On a slightly tedious note, a * means the game hasn't been reviewed in that magazine yet, or the review score isn't known.
