Dear Future Gamer
So the new X-Box has an 8Gb hard-drive? Sounds great - ladies and gentlemen what we have here is the first console that you have to install games on! Out of space - sorry you'll have to get rid of some games... Oh, and shut down correctly or endure interminable boot-up delays as the non-journalling file-system checks for errors... Or am I just cynical?
Frankly, it all sounds interesting but Microsoft have to be careful to make a console with all the associated ease and convenience, and not simply make a cut-down (by then!) PC.

FG:
The X-Box's hard drive doesn't work like a PC's. You don't install your games to the hard drive - the hard drive is used for save game files and the like (and, blimey, you'd need thousands of save games to fill 8Gbs!).
