X-TV

Dear Future Gamer

I've been pondering the specs of the X-Box. I know that I have more important things to do but I just can't focus on derivatives when the future of gaming looks so rosy. Anyway, how are Microsoft expecting us to interface with the X-Box? If their prospective graphics chip is three generations on from the NVIDIA 256 then surely they don't expect us to bang it into our tellies? The 256 boasts scary resolutions as of now. Three generations on will take the piss out of anything other than 2,056 x 1,500 at 85MHz. What do you reckon they'll suggest?

Jamie Green

FG: Hmm, it's a fair point Jamie. The obvious answer is a decent monitor, or a £3,000 telly. Just when you thought the PC upgrade slog was about to come to an end, eh?
