Acclaim fall in love with a Starship Trooper

Details are beginning to surface regarding Acclaim’s new action/shooter for the N64. Armorines, developed by Probe, is a Starship Troopers-like shooter based on the Acclaim Comics publication of the same name.

Using technology from both Turok 2 and Forsaken, the game puts you in the role of a space marine that must save the world from a swarm of marauding alien bugs. Best laughs are likely to be had from the two-player co-operative mode as well as the obligatory four-player deathmatch.

Armorines will support both the Rumble Pak and the 4Mb Expansion Pak and is scheduled to be released in time for Christmas.
