Strike a light! It’s war on the N64!
Electronic Arts’ popular Strike series is making its way onto the N64 and it won’t be just a straight port from the PlayStation.
Nuclear Strike 64, developed by Pacific Power & Light, will be faster than its PlayStation counterpart and will feature advanced graphics routines to create ultra-realistic explosions and terrain. The enemy AI has also been tweaked, ensuring that battles unfold in a far more convincing manner (instead of simply homing in on your vehicle).
You will have the opportunity to wrestle with the controls of a staggering 15 different war machines, ranging from helicopters and harrier jump jets to tanks and hovercrafts. And you can forget switching to the map view to find your bearings – the N64 version will feature an all-new waypoint system in order to keep the action flowing.
