Bandai game figures

New additions to plastic toy range planned

Those with a penchant for the small plastic figurine will be delighted to learn that the masters of this art, Bandai, are launching a slew of new videogame characters in the coming months. Gasp in stupefied awe as you nervously fiddle with those tough-to-get-off plastic wrappers (you know the sort) before cradling a splendid imitation of Crash Bandicoot. Or Squall Leonheart from Final Fantasy VIII.

Bandai already have a range of figures from Duke Nukem and Quake II and MCV reports that they’re planning to launch the Final Fantasy VIII characters in August and September. Also in the mould are Donkey Kong and Zelda and more disturbingly, Gex. £9.99 to you, sir…
