Tomorrow Never Dies

EA outline key features of new Bond game

Electronic Arts have just sent out a new press release containing all the official info on the forthcoming PlayStation Bond-fest, Tomorrow Never Dies.

Scheduled for an October release, the game is based on the film of the same name and recreates the James Bond experience by means of three distinct game modes - on-foot (third-person), skiing and driving.

There are 14 missions in all, set in a variety of locations based on the movie, including Military Outpost, Arms Bazaar, Carver Media Centre, Ski Ridge and the Stealth Boat in Ha Long Bay.

As the spirited spy, you will have a vast array of gadgets at your disposal, including explosive cufflink detonators, laser designators, tracking devices, ski pole rocket-launchers and a versatile cell phone device. The best fun is to be had with the infrared goggles and the (now obligatory) first-person sniper mode.

It's all sounding a bit Metal Gear Solid, which is a good thing, and will feature comprehensive multiplayer options as well as Dual Shock support.
