No PocketStation?

Euro launch for Sony miniature in doubt

The European launch of the PocketStation is seemingly in doubt. No tears, please. Rumour has it - and it is conjecture - that the PlayStation handheld will never be seen outside of Japan. The PocketStation has been a massive success in Japan, selling over one million units since January.

However, a Sony source told trade paper MCV: "It might not get to the UK at all". Shudder. Quite why this should be remains a mystery, particularly when you consider the massive PlayStation user base in Europe and Sega's Dreamcast launch in September. We'll keep you posted.
