Get A Kick Out Of Gekido

Infogrames bring 3D fighting adventure to the PlayStation

Infogrames have announced a new 3D arcade-style fighting adventure game, inspired by the classic Streets of Rage.

Developed in the UK by Infogrames Sheffield House (formerly known as Gremlin Interactive), Gekido is a fast, furious action-packed 3D fighter with a host of original features. Punch and kick your way through 15 levels packed with nasty boss-types, hell-bent on your destruction. Partake of some two-player head-to-head scrapping in the arena, or indulge in a four-player brawl in the Tournament Bout.

Choose from four main characters - Travis ("the hot-headed hurricane"), Michelle ("the young military operative"), Takada ("the touku-shin master") or Ushi ("the aged aggressor"). Each has a unique blend of martial art expertise, with more kicks, punches, leaps and combos than you could break a brick on.
