Dear Future Gamer
I can't believe so many PC owners are going on about sequels for the PlayStation. What games are PC owners waiting for? Games like Quake III and the new Command and Conquer; all the other games released are just blatant copies of old ideas. At least Sony have brought original things into the games market - games like Parrapa the Rapper on the PlayStation opened up a whole new genre. And are you saying you don't want to see a Tekken 4 or a Gran Turismo 2? Maybe if they called them Tokken and Roadcar Racer no-one would mind.
I own a PC too, though, and I can't say I don't like it. What do I play at the moment? Championship Manager 3 and Quake II (still). Thank God Sports Interactive and id Software decided to make sequels.

FG:
It's a good point, Peter. If publishers decided to call the games by different names, people would stop moaning about sequels, despite the fact that that's quite obviously what they are. The reality is that they won't. If a game sells well, the publishers are going to attempt to cash in on the original game's popularity and hopefully sell huge quantities of the sequel because they figure people want more of the same. The success of some sequels seems to bear this out.
