| Footy Shenanigans... |
There's been a bit of football frenzy this week, with the new Premiership season kicking off and all. Bizarrely enough, it hasn't been our beloved Actua 3 spinning in the office PlayStation. Oh no, we got hold of an early copy of ISS Pro Evolution, and what great fun we've had.
While not offering the depth and subtle control nuances of Actua, ISS Pro Evolution has dazzled with its fancy animation, deft touches and devastating through-balls.
But not everyone at Future Gamer has warmed to Konami's latest offering; Andy Smith reckons that playing 'the Scottish game' might interfere with his intensive pre-season Actua training. He could be right too, if last week's 'Actua Charity Shield Meaningless Pre-Season Friendly League Cup' was anything to go by. "Where's the sprint button?" cried an out-of-shape Steve Bradley. "Damn that ISS!"
