A Site For Sore Eyes
Blair Witch Project and Tarzan

Halloween is almost upon us, and so is The Blair Witch Project, touted as the scariest film ever made. You must have seen the hype by now: three student filmmakers go into the woods to investigate the legend of the Blair witch. They go missing, but a year later their films are found. These shaky handheld home vids form the basis of the film, and have confused many people into thinking it's an actual documentary, not a movie.

The Blair Witch Project website takes advantage of this, presenting all its information as fact. It's a nicely designed site, with a history of the mythology of the Blair Witch, video footage with policemen and the families of the three students and archives of police evidence. There's even a chat room so you can find out if it's going to be too scary for you or not.

We've recommended the US site as the UK site didn't seem to want to work very often, and when it did it didn't seem to have as much information, but you can check it out by clicking here.

If you think all this is going to be too nerve-wracking, Disney's gorgeous site dedicated to the new
Tarzan film might be more up your street. It's got puzzles and games aplenty, trailers, gorillagrams you can send, wallpaper and not a hint of things going bump in the night. Although you can listen to the Phil Collins song from the soundtrack, which we're sure is scarier than anything The Blair Witch Project can offer...
