Another PC WWII combat flight sim no less! This one follows the usual remit - string some missions together into a campaign (there are three of 'em present and correct in the game, one each for the US, UK and German airforces) and offer the player the chance to play single missions or dogfight it out with some multiplayer mates. That's about your lot, and it's okay. It's nothing special though, and just doesn't have the quality of Microsoft's Combat Flight Sim or Microprose's European Air War, both of which are more polished and don't chug so much on a low-end PC. N: WWIIFC is a slightly better than average combat flight sim, but only just.

We'd been looking forward to this PC first-person shooter in which the player runs around shooting Nazis. Heck, all the shots and info we'd seen led us to believe we were in for a right blast. We should know by now - don't look forward to games that sound great because they turn out to be very disappointing. Mortyr is very disappointing. It's full of bugs and is terribly frustrating to play - Germans keep popping up from the most unlikely of places, ruining all the game's tension and atmosphere. Sure, they can patch it up, and they're going to have to because this is sub-standard fare as it stands.
