Dear Future Gamer
With respect to the recent comment, "Acorn's presence is now restricted to educational establishments," in one of Dale Bradford's Retro columns:
Not true. Acorn computers are very much alive and well. Acorn computers (the company are no more) have been split between Element 14 and Pace Microelectronics. The operating system RISC OS is now being developed by RISC OS Ltd. The Acorn-branded RISC PCs are being manufactured by Castle Technology Ltd, and a number of other manufacturers are preparing to launch RISC OS-based machines.
You would be most surprised to find that Acorn/RISC OS computers are in many places. Please don't pass them off as 'the BBCs you used at school'. Far from it.

Thanks for that, Graham. We will, erm, be following Acorn's, or Element 14's, or Pace Microelectronics', or Castle Technology's, or whoever's progress with a keen eye. Ahem.
