Hercules Coming to N64

Titus developing game based on TV show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys

French super-publishers Titus have today revealed that the development of their latest N64 title is well advanced. Based on the TV show Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, the game sees the player controlling the mythical strongman and two of his companions, Iolaus and Serena, on their quest to find magical artefacts that can be used to stop Hercules' half-brother Ares from overthrowing Zeus and releasing the dreaded Titan on the world.

The game's a 3D action adventure job with some 12 3D worlds set in ancient Greece to explore. The general idea of the game seems to involve switching between the game's main characters to accomplish certain tasks and solve puzzles. Hercules, for example is renowned for his strength so you'll use him when, er, heavy things need lifting. Iolaus is quick and nimble and able to access areas the big hulk can't get to, while Serena's armed with a highly accurate bow.

We'll bring you more info on the game when we get it.
