| Pokémon Pushing People Too Far? |
Well, with the robberies, crimes and what-not having to do with Pokémon, we get yet another problem - and this one may really affect the little kiddies...
When will the problems stop? Yes, we get fun and pleasure out of the Pokémon franchise, but where do we draw the line with pleasure? A few days ago, police arrested two young ladies, aged 16 and 18, from their trailer park home. Why? Because for the previous months, the two girls had been luring neighbouring boys aged 8-11 to their trailer and exchanging Pokémon cards for sex. Guess who got the cards? Yep - the kids.
Apparently, one of the mothers thought something was wrong and tipped police off about the unknown situation. The two girls were arrested and hopefully the boys won't be traumatised for life because of their experience. Due to the fact that the boys were under 18, the 18-year-old girl is likely to face statutory rape charges, while it may be a harder case for the 16-year-old as she is still a minor.
The bottom line? Watch out for girls in trailer parks with Pokémon cards...
